In this Professional Book, I take all 10 of the Reading and 10 of the Writing standards and completely break them down into usable, classroom-friendly terms. I then go in-depth with each standard demonstrating many methods and strategies to use them in the classroom immediately. I take this a step further by giving examples of lessons that take students from not having ever used these standards or ideas (such as comparing Primary and Secondary Sources) all the way to mastery. My methods are proven and naturally differentiate. Student samples and student feedback is also included. I hope to have this ready to edit in late winter 2011/2012.
